There are many opportunities for recognizing the generosity of our donors in the new La Maestra Community Health Center – City Heights. Below are naming opportunities available to donors beginning with gifts of $50,000 and above. We will work with individual donors to find the most meaningful naming opportunity in the new facility. .
Heart of the Community” Lobby $500,000
The “Heart of the Community” Lobby is a special place for the new La Maestra Community Health Center. It is the first experience patients and visitors will have as they enter the new facility – an exciting introduction to the facility with spectacular cultural images on banners and murals representing countries from all throughout the world. Drenched with natural light and the sounds of white water emerging from the 3-story atrium of plants and trees, the lobby will be a hub of activity, interaction and the first introduction for many receiving healthcare. Kiosks will be selling fragrant coffee and colorful flowers for everyone to enjoy. In the evening, the lobby can be transformed into forum for exchanging ideas or a healthcare lecture. Chairs and tables, stored close by can be brought out to accommodate any type of setting.
Resident volunteers placed at a welcoming station will greet patients and help them to locate their treatment centers in many languages, representing the populations that will be using the facility. Visitors and residents will experience the rich cultural history of the community as well as the environmentally beautiful features. Combined everyone will leave the facility with a new understanding of the future of the City Heights community and this dynamic center of health and well-being. This is a unique investment opportunity that touches thousands of visitors annually.

Women’s Care Center (OB/GYN Care) $500,000
The Women’s Care Center is a 4,500 square foot facility located on the third floor. It will provide women with a medical home – a “one stop” program for treating all of their medical needs. The Center places a high emphasis on education for the woman to learn about her own health and to help her care for her family. Programs that focus on prevention and early detection of such problems as diabetes, breast and cervical cancer and mental health are emphasized. Women have easier access to insurance programs so special assistance is offered to complete forms and explain the opportunities for access to care that are available.
