About Us

Established: 1991

Current Main Site:  34,660 square-foot, three story, environmentally sustainable - LEED Gold certified - health center, first green community health center in the US, to provide full range of services in a single location.

Organizational status: 501 (c) 3     Tax ID # 33-0473171

Number of employees: 270 representing 19 languages and cultures.

Locations: San Diego County, California : East (El Cajon), South (National City), South-East Lemon Grove (Lemon Grove) and Central (City Heights)

Total Budget: $22,066,972

Number of patients served: 40,288

Percent of patients that fall at or below 200% of the federal poverty level: 98%

Services Provided: Medical care, dental care, mental health, pharmacy, job training, housing assistance, insurance eligibility, and food pantry

Total Patient Visits: 110,800

Percent of patients by insurance:  Uninsured (29%), Medi-Cal (63%), Medicare (­ 1%), Private (0.6%), Other (5%)
