Facilities and Locations
La Maestra Community Health Centers has six separate locations in San Diego County. The main facility is in City Heights and consists of thirteen buildings on six parcels in the busy urban residential neighborhood along Fairmount Avenue. This Center is the largest and provides the entire spectrum of health services (See Access to Health) and well-being services (See Access to Well-being).
The El Cajon City Center is La Maestra's second largest operation and serves residents in East San Diego County. It is comprised of two buildings that provide primary medical and dental care. The El Cajon clinic is located across the street from the Department of Health and Human Services office that complements the health services of La Maestra.
Our National City Center is located on Highland Avenue and provides primary care, prenatal, and pediatric services.
We recently opened a Center in Lemon Grove in reponse to the needs of that community for accessible healthcare. There we currently provide primary medical and dental care.
At all of our locations, patients will find friendly staff who are eager to help you find out which insurance and care plans you are eligible for and where to find other community resources for social services including housing, job training and placement, and transportation.
