Strong collaborations and partnerships are vitally needed to ensure that an organization is maximizing resources and remaining relevant to the needs of the community. Over its 15-year history, La Maestra Community Health Centers has participated a broad network of collaborations and partnerships on the Federal, State, County and City government levels as well as with for profit and non-profit organizations. It has developed strong partnerships with organizations in the fields of Health, Education, Employment, Housing and Advocacy as well as with public and private funding sources (see Giving Opportunities.
La Maestra Community Health Center has also participated in and led many community collaboratives that have brought together residents, business owners, healthcare providers and government representatives to solve community issues.
