Description:

 The Outreach offices at La Maestra assists patients to determine their eligibility for health insurance programs. The multi-lingual staff assists patients complete on-line applications and forms toward accessing coverage for care. The office also promotes programs available at La Maestra and actively promotes preventative services for the community at Health Fairs and through partners in the community.

 Navigating the health insurance system (public or private) is arduous and the experienced staff at LMCHC takes the time to assist patients understand their rights and the services that are available to them for free or at reduced rates (depending on their ability to pay).

 Services provided in the Outreach unit, though not reimbursable, benefit our clients and provide direct access for the to LMCHC’s complete Circle of Care.
