Sonography Services
La Maestra has added Diagnostic Medical Sonography to their Circle of Care.
We are now performing state of the art, high resolution sonography to perform Obstetrical, Gynecological, Abdominal, Renal, Breast, Thyroid, Testicular, Pediatric, Peripheral Venous Duplex, Carotid Duplex and Aortic sonography.
These services are available at our Fairmount Clinic as well as, El Cajon, Lemon Grove and National City locations.
Our sonographic examinations are typically performed within 1-3 days of the generated referral. The examinations are performed by ARDMS sonographers who possess credentials in the speciality areas of sonographic imaging. All of our examinations are interpreted by Board Certified Radiologists. Our studies are transmitted by utilizing State of the art digitally encrypted technology. Reports are received by the ordering clinician the same day the imaging examination is performed.
By adding these additional services La Maestra is focusing on the highest level of quality patient care in an "on premises"convenient location. La Maestra continues to utilize culturally competent and sensitive staff giving the patients the organization serves the ability to offer Diagnostic Sonography services that are second to none.
Since adding Diagnostic Medical Sonography to our Circle of Care La Maestra has been able to rapidly diagnose serious medical conditions which markedly improve the triage and quality of medical care to our patients.
La Maestra is also able to take referrals for Diagnostic Medical Sonography services from other payer sources, not solely MediCal. We offer very affordable "sliding fee" rates for the uninsured Cash Pay cliental.
