Medical Imaging Services

Ultrasound:
Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Services are currently available at our Fairmount, El Cajon,
National City and Lemon Grove medical clinics. We plan to add a Mobile Ultrasound component in the future.
Equipment: Our Ultrasound equipment is “State of the Art” GE Voluson, and Acuson Sequoia Technology. We are capable of performing 3D/ 4D Ultrasound Imaging.
Ultrasound Examaminations Performed: Abdominal, Aorta, Breast, Carotid Duplex, Musculoskeletal, Neonatal Neuro, Obstetrical, Pelvis, Pylorus, Endovaginal, Renal, Scrotal, Thyroid, Venous Duplex.
 

Mammography:
Full Field Digital Mammography Services are currently available at our Fairmount Clinic.
We plan to add a Mobile Full Field Digital clinic in the future.
Equipment: We utilize “State of the Art” Hologic Selenia Dimensions Full Field Digital Mammography equipment with Computer Aided Detection ( CAD ). Our Hologic Selenia Dimensions has the capability to add 3D Tomosynthesis technology in the future.
Mammography Examinations Performed: Bilateral Digital Screening with CAD, Bilateral/ Unilateral Digital Diagnostic.
 

Bone Density ( DEXA ):
Bone Density ( DEXA ) Services are currently available at our Fairmount Clinic.
Equipment: We utilize “State of the Art” Hologic Discovery-W DEXA technology.
Bone Density Examinations Performed: Lumbar Spine / Hip Bone Density, Extremity (forearm) Bone Density, Thoracic Spine Vertebral Fracture Assessment, Body Composition.
 
 
Image Archiving ( PACS ):
La Maestra is utilizing digitally encrypted Image Review, Reporting and Storage Technology at All La Maestra clinic locations.
All of our Diagnostic Medical Imaging studies and reports can be viewed by La Maestra clinicians in a HIPPA compliant secure manner.
With the utilization of PACS, La Maestra’s Diagnostic Medical Imaging studies can be rapidly sent, in a secure manner to Specialty Care physicians ( Surgery, Oncology, etc. ) at Medical Centers in our region.
