 La Maestra New Mobile Clinic





La Maestra has purchased a new Mobile Clinic to provide medical, dental and other health and well-being services to elementary and middle school students in San Diego. Our new 40-foot mobile clinic features two dental chairs and one medical exam room. Dental services provided by La Maestra’s Mobile Clinic include oral examinations, x-rays, dental prophylaxes, nutritional counseling, fluoride treatments, sealants, amalgam and composite restorations, stainless steel crowns, polycarbonate anterior crowns, root canal therapy for primary and permanent teeth, extractions and minor oral surgery. Medical services provided by La Maestra’s Mobile Clinic include wellness exams, sports physicals, treatment for acute illnesses, such as the flu, and chronic conditions, including asthma and diabetes. Vision, hearing and mental health screenings for lead, tuberculosis, high cholesterol, high blood sugar and referrals are also available. The La Maestra Mobile Clinic is an important resource in addressing the medical and dental needs of children in the San Diego area.
